2
How can I reset my password?
To reset your password, please follow this link.
3
Will anyone see my responses to the questions?
No one will ever see any of your responses to the algorithm questions that determine your rank ordered match recommendations or your customized communications feedback. The only information other residents will see about you are the answers to your “Fun Facts About Me” that you completed. Property/Residential administrators may view your recommended matches.
4
I finished the assessment, but I’d like to change some of my answers, so can I retake it?
You cannot retake the assessment, but the good news is that it is highly unlikely that changing one answer, or even a few answers, would change the recommendations in any way. Keep in mind that no one see your answers to the questions anyway.
5
Does everyone receive the same number of roommate recommendations?
Yes, however, the roommate recommendations may be ranked differently for each person based upon the degree to which they’ve matched.
6
Some of the people who were recommended to me don’t seem like people I’d be friends with; why would I want to live with them?
Believe it or not, sometimes the differences can make all the difference, particularly in a roommate relationship. Compatible relationships are based upon unique areas of both similarities and differences. People who are exactly like you would likely not be an ideal roommate for you. When it’s a great fit, it just feels like you and your friend or roommate are exactly alike; the likelihood is that, in many ways, you are probably very different.
7
I need to find two roommates; can I choose more than one?
Yes, and the number of roommates you may choose is programmed into the platform, according to the unit/room configuration in which you’ll be living. Remember that roommates must all request each other.
8
What if I don’t think any of the recommended roommates would be a good match for me?
You don’t have to choose anyone recommended. However, it is recommended that you use the communications profile to help guide initial conversations. The matches are provided to help make your search easier for you, not more difficult. If you think you’d not like someone based upon what you see in their “Fun Facts” or their picture, take a chance and talk. You may be pleasantly surprised. Remember that you’re not looking for a best friend; you’re seeking someone who will be a good roommate.
